The two-week-old concrete sidewalks had heavy tire marks and dirt. The newly sealed pavers had light tire marks and lacked joint stabilization. Both surfaces were vulnerable to high-pressure damage, and the areas were frequented by many people, making them high traffic zones.

The Cleaning Process and Products

The team used a low foaming caustic degreaser combined with a concrete brightener/bleach mix. This solution was applied using high-flow equipment at 12 gallons per minute @ 600psi. For pressure washing, a 28’’ surface cleaner with 40° nozzles was used at 12gpm @1500psi to ensure the concrete finish remained undamaged. The tire marks were treated with the same cleaning solution, scrubbed, and then rinsed at 600psi to prevent joint sand loss.
