Working in San Antonio
New-construction pavers follow a known arc. For the first months efflorescence works its way out of the pavers, the whitish mineral bloom, and sealing too early traps it under the film. Then the builder-grade joint sand starts washing out with the first serious rainy seasons. The right sequence, and the one I run all over Mirada, is: let the pavers finish their new-paver phase, wash, re-sand with SEK ASTM-C144 sand, and seal with the finish you actually chose. The aerial photo on the paver sealing page of sealed versus unsealed driveways side by side was taken over the Mirada lagoon area, and the difference speaks for itself.

My Mirada home is brand new. When should the driveway be sealed?
After the new-paver efflorescence phase has run its course, typically some months after install, and I will tell you honestly if yours is not ready yet. Sealing too early traps mineral bloom under the film, which is the white haze problem on the why pavers turn white page.
Do you also handle house washing in newer stucco homes?
Yes, by soft wash, which is the only method newer stucco should ever see. Mirada and the surrounding new builds get the same low pressure house washing as everywhere else I work.
