The Challenge in Lutz’s Residential Driveway
The driveway, spanning 60’ across, faced temperature challenges in the mid 90’s, leading to inconsistencies in the tinting process. The tinting required precise measurements, with every mix needing to be exact.
Clean Rite’s Distinctive Edge
With 8 years in the business, Clean Rite Pressure Cleaning & Paver Sealing has built a reputation for precision and quality. Their address is 27930 Green Willow Run, Wesley Chapel, Florida, 33544.
The Restoration Process and Products
The driveway was pressure washed on day 1, followed by the application of a tinted sealer on day 2. Wet sanding was done on day 3, and the final two coats of clear sealer were applied on day 4. The tint was added to the first coat to ensure deep color penetration, while the last two coats protected the color and stabilized the joints. Products used included commercial-grade pressure washing equipment, Trident Hurricane Cat 5 water-based urethane sealer, SEK ASTM C-144 joint stabilizing sand, and Ure-Shades Canyon Brown semi-transparent tint.
Solution to the Challenges
To combat the heat, the project commenced at 7 am. A consistent mix of 20 gallons of Trident sealer was prepared with 60 ounces of semi-transparent tint. Lighter areas were given a second coat and evened out with a roller.
A Resounding Success in Lutz
The project emphasized the importance of timing and attention to detail, especially considering the heat and humidity challenges. Spanning over 4 days and totaling 12 hours, the project was a testament to Clean Rite’s dedication and expertise, leaving the client extremely satisfied.
